Loan Officer Job Description

Bank of Utah is seeking bright, motivated, energetic, experienced individuals for residential loan officer positions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Obtain loans through referral sources; including but not limited to past clients, Realtors, SOI, etc.
• Coordinate all aspects of the loan application process
• Maintain a minimum monthly production volume of $500,000
• Assist clients in determining the loan program best suited to their needs
• Follow up on all client/Realtor communications in a timely and professional manner

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of five(5) years mortgage lending experience required
• Utah state, NMLS licensing and background check
• SOI/Database of 500+ contacts AND/OR 100% self-sourced business (leads not provided)
• High School diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
• High degree of computer literacy
• Encompass loan software knowledge preferred (but not required)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Excellent pipeline management and follow-up skills
